Cygnet Healthcare is looking for Care Assistants to join our team working at Tupwood Nursing Home. If you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, ward assistant or support worker looking for a new opportunity or your first role within healthcare to help support residents with learning difficulties within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership.

Tupwood Gate Nursing Home provides support to a variety of residents over the age of 50 who may have a diagnosis of dementia, Alzheimer’s, post-operative support and end-of-life care.

Your role at Tupwood Nursing Home:

Working both days (08:00 am to 08:00 pm) and nights (08:00 pm to 08:00 am)
Working two weekends a month
Supporting residents with day-to-day activities
Assisting residents with washing, and dressing whilst promoting independence and choice
Help with maintaining a safe and clean environment
Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers

What you will need:

Previous care experience working with ever a nursing home or community setting (Desirable)
Positive Attitude and Friendly Approach (Essential)
Strong Communication Skills (Essential)
Able to work as part of a team or individually (Essential)
