We are looking for a Junior Credit Controller to join our team at Cygnet Nepicar House, Wrotham, Kent. 

Cygnet was established in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism and learning disabilities within the UK.

This is an exciting role within the Credit Control team ensuring all revenue is collected in a timely fashion and dealing with the associated queries that come up.  This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in credit control.

This role is a hybrid role with the expectation of working in the office 1-2 times per week, days are flexible depending on the needs and the demands of the service. 

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a set of accounts to chase by phone and email, covering Foundation Trust debts on the Healthcare ledger. Proven ability to communicate clearly and to create good relationships with funders.
  • Reporting and tracking of collection progress to the Credit Manager.
  • Dealing with a high level of sometimes complex queries and escalate where necessary.
  • Raising credit note requests for your own accounts and working closely with the billing team when queries arise.
  • Monitoring and logging credit rejections and locating extra backing if needed to re submit the credit request.
  • Assisting the credit control team with obtaining observations and funding documents that are requested by funders.
  • Assisting the credit control team with invoicing uploads onto portals to ensure prompt payment.
  • Assisting the team with account reconciliations if required.
  • Adhoc tasks for the wider team.

  • Knowledge of billing 
  • Previous experience in a credit control role
