We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Driver to join our team at Broughton Lodge. The Driver will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents by ensuring safe and reliable transportation for various activities, outings, and appointments.

*Must have a valid uk license for a minimum of 2 years (Automatic and Manual)

*Must have a D1 License

About Us:

Broughton Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, recreational activities, and community outings.

- Ensure the comfort and well-being of residents during transportation, taking into consideration their unique needs.

- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.

- Assist in loading and unloading residents, including individuals with mobility challenges, as needed.

- Collaborate with the care team to schedule transportation and plan outings that align with residents' interests and goals.

- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage and any incidents.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.

- A commitment to promoting independence and community integration for our residents.
