The Role: We are currently looking to employ a full time Assistant Psychologist to join our Psychology Department at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage. The successful candidate will join a team comprised of qualified, trainee, assistant and honorary psychologists and will work across a Female Acute ward.
We are seeking a strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the team with;
- Assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal/written)
- Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual/group programmes
- Administration, audit, research and service development
The Hospital: Cygnet Hospital Stevenage is mental health hospital consisting of six wards (male low and medium secure, two male PICUs, and two female acute’s). We achieved an overall ‘Good’ rating from a recent CQC inspection and we strive to work towards an outstanding rating.
