We are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood.  

Cygnet Hospital Sherwood: 

Cygnet Hospital Sherwood, is our new 3 ward, 44-bed hospital in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire. Cygnet Hospital Sherwood will provide a highly specialised service for men in Acute and PICU settings.

The role is based on Treetops ward our 16 bed Acute service for men. The role would include planning, developing and implementing activities to engage the patients group. Working closely with the nursing and Occupational Therapy team.

This role will be working 42 hours per week across 7 days.

  • Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our care.
  • Provide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional support.
  • Ensure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activities.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events

Requirements

Contracted hours: 42 hours per week across 7 days.

Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
