We are looking for a highly motivated and responsive HR Administrator who will lead the department and oversee HR & Training compliance across Cygnet Hospital Sherwood.

We would expect the candiate to have some experience or qualification in a simialr role or willingness to work towards. 

You’ll be working 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri 9-5, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care. 

Cygnet Hospital Sherwood is our new state-of-the-art PICU and Acute hospital for men, in Nottinghamshire. 

The service features three wards, including a 12 bed PICU ward and two 16 bed acute wards.

Cygnet Hospital Sherwood has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and will support the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment.

Your day-to-day... 

  • Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support 
  • You will have line management responsibility for the administration team
  • Prepare reports & other written materials
  • Keep files & records as required
  • Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly
  • Occasionally taking notes & minutes at meetings when required
  • Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner

You are... 

  • An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health 
  • Experienced in office management / managing a team 
  • Experienced in working within a HR administration role
  • Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
  • Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative 
  • A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet
