We are recruiting for a Training and Office Administrator who will be responsible for the provision of efficient and effective administration systems to support the Training processes of the Hospital.

The post-holder will also provide cover for Compliance, Finance and Mental Health Act Office in line with the Hospital’s needs. Relevant training will be provided.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and ideally have previous training and admin experience.

Main Duties:

  • Organising the provision of induction and statutory and mandatory training according to the monthly/quarterly calendar. Including booking of rooms and tutors, arranging of training equipment and printed materials
  • Ensuring that new starters receive corporate inductions and work booklets
  • Logging of all training attendance on the Achieve system and monitoring of Hospital compliance statistics in line with company requirements
  • Coordination of the appraisal process and maintenance of HR data in respect of this
  • Provide with weekly and monthly training compliance reports
  • Maintaining and updating the Hospital’s training platform (Achieve)
  • Drafting and sending training-related letters of concern on behalf of the Hospital Manager
  • Supporting Finance Administrators with payroll duties during payroll period (cross-checking timesheets vs staffing platform)
  • Supporting the MHA desk with scrutinizing legal paperwork with accuracy and in accordance with Cygnet policy when needed.
  • Supporting the Mental Health Law Practitioner with MHA audits when needed

  • Relevant experience in busy office environment
  • Experience of working in a Training or payroll department (desirable)
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Well-developed skills in word, excel and databases
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Note taking at meetings
  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Attention to detail
