Senior Housekeeper

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others.
You’ll be working 40 hours per week (8am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm) at Cygnet Hospital Bury helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.
Cygnet Hospital Bury provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and CAMHS provision for adolescents.
Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.

Your day-to-day…
- Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness by training and allocating housekeeping staff.
- Carrying out staff appraisals and supervisions in a timely manner;
- Leading and motivating the team to achieve the highest possible standards when carrying out their duties.
- Organising cover and being first port of call for housekeeping issues;
- Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

You are...
- Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic work
- Have either direct experience or stepped up as a supervisor/manager or team leader.
- Knowledgeable of COSHH
- Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude
- A good communicator
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
