Do you have a passion for training and supporting patients to build confidence and skills in IT and mixed digital media.

We are looking for an experienced Multi Media Technical Instructor to join the Recovery College Team at Cygnet Hospital Bury.  

Cygnet Hospital Bury provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and CAMHS provision for adolescents.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.

You will need to have relevant experience working in health & social care setting and will have strong IT / AV knowledge, skills and competencies including: using a media studio, sound equipment and digital resources such as mixing desks, recording studio, photography and film. You will be able to work well with both staff and patients, and be adaptable and flexible to work in an environment of change and development.  Is this for you?

  • A strong understanding, experience and knowledge of multiple digital media equipment and resources
  • Relevant experience in a training/teaching environment
